FMC Hobbs

First Methodist Church Hobbs, founded in 1919,  recently celebrated their centennial.  FMC began with seven worshippers meeting in a local schoolhouse.  Over the past 100 years, FMC has enjoyed substantial growth.   in 1993, FMC celebrated its mortgage Burning!   First Methodist has undergone many  transformation phases since the school house; adding additions, moving bell towers and stairs but as said in the 1994 copy of "We Are Family"-One in Christ FMC history booklet, "The true church is not a building, but people are drawn together by a common love for Jesus Christ."  To read a few pages from "We Are Family" Click here Identification Card
