adult ministry

FUMC offers Adult Ministry connection through numerous small group studies, Wednesday Night Live programs, social gatherings, retreats and various discipleship opportunities.  We try to serve this ministry by addressing everyday topics and concerns facing the adult population of today.  Join us in our quest to draw nearer to God and others that seek His path.  Kim Van Dyke, Adult Ministry Directorcircleemail

Grief Share is a 13-week, Christ-centered, biblically based support group seminar. A grieving person can join at any time during the 13 weeks. Each session shows a video presentation followed by small group discussion about the video. The Grief Share videos present experts, ministers, and Christian counselors discussing grief and recovery subjects helpful to people in grief. Real people share their stories of what has helped them deal with the pain of losing a family member or friend through death. During the week between meetings, group members complete a daily Bible study and practical exercises to help them heal from grief. Grief Share is for people who have lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend through death.

The Grief Share Leadership team consisting of Kim Portillo, Danny Hunt, David Portillo and Kim Van Dyke want to inform you about the ministry of Grief Share and hope you will refer those who are experiencing grief (from the death of a family member or friend) to Grief Share.
